Singapore Karate's Shannon Leong hits her highest record of 29th placing in the World Championships
The Karate World Championships in Budapest kicked off with female kata in the first event. Singapore's own female individual kata champion Shannon Leong, made her mark as she scored the third highest in her difficult pool with the eventual champion from Japan and eventual Bronze medallist from Spain.
Shannon ended up with an overall 29 placing out of 57 competitors. Keep going!
