Guardian Girl's Karate holds it's first intructor course in Asia

Guardian Girl's Karate is an initiative by Guardian Girls International that is officially supported by the World Karate Federation. The organisation focuses on championing women's self defence through karate and advocating to reduce gender based violence throughout the world. On March 7th and 8th, Guardian Girls Karate had it's first Instructor course in Tokyo, Japan for the first time.

The Karatedo Union of Singapore sent Shannon Leong, a member of Ryuei Ryu Shosei Ryuhokan, to this momentous event that saw the celebration of Women's Day as well.

Senpai Shannon had a good time during the event and said "I learnt a lot, and had fun. More importantly, I would like to continue the great work that Guardian Girls have done so far and hope to spread it across Singapore."
