NTU's Star: Shannon Earns Silver, Sole Karate Medal for Singapore at ASEAN University Games
While taking her Master's Degree in Science (Exercise and Sport Studies), Senpai Shannon represented both Singapore and her university, Nanyang Technological University, in the ASEAN University Games which was held in Malang, Indonesia from 25 June - 6 July of 2024. She managed to clinch a silver medal for the country and her tertiary institute. It is also worth noting that her silver medal is also the only medal that Singapore earned for Karate. How impressive! She was also featured on the institute's Varsity Sports Association's Instagram page.
